The Way knows the Way

“It is said that before entering the sea

a river trembles with fear.

She looks back at the path she has traveled,

from the peaks of the mountains,

the long winding road crossing forests and villages.

And in front of her,

she sees an ocean so vast,

that to enter

there seems nothing more

than to disappear forever.

But there is no other way.

The river can not go back.

Nobody can go back.

To go back is impossible in existence.

The river needs to take the risk

of entering the ocean

because only then will fear disappear,

because that’s where the river will know

it’s not about disappearing into the ocean,

but of becoming the ocean.”

- Khalil Gibran

In cultivating the ability to surrender to the summons of our soul, we are learning to trust the Universe to guide us into a deeper relationship with the Divine.

This is a way of devotion that requires the sacrifice of repeatedly diving into the deep unknown in order to fuse with the great mystery. This is a willing and rapturous choice. An offering of your deepest love with your whole heart, because an even greater love demands it.

It is a deliberate decision to love beyond ego and beyond comfort, to allow a part of yourself to die so that an alchemy you cannot yet understand will merge you with the sacred and elevate you to your highest and greatest good.

“The outward work will never be puny if the inward work is great. And the outward work can never be great or even good if the inward work is puny or of little worth.”

- Meister Eckhart

It is an art to remain yielding and open to the unseen journey where continuous confrontations challenge your heart to harden.

When you commit to this more expansive way of being, and it creates friction in your now too small container, you are being invited into a deeper level of trust.

The sincerity of your desire for ascension is being tested.

The pathless path that delivers us to the oceanic bliss of the Divine is not governed by unchanging eternal laws, instead, conflict is created so that we might be agents of our own change, co-creating our incarnation, becoming stewards of heaven here on Earth.

“Knock, And He'll open the door

Vanish, And He'll make you shine like the sun

Fall, And He'll raise you to the heavens

Become nothing, And He'll turn you into everything.”

- Rumi

There are seasons of struggle where there is no clear path forward without pushback from the constructs and comforts that we have come to know and rely on. This sacrifice is what it is to make something Sacred.

In the trembling power that radiates through time and space, the Divine sustains even our struggle against it. Pouring from the wellspring of mercy, you are drenched in grace as you dance with the Divine across the threshold of becoming, releasing the old ways of being and lusting after alignment.

As your journey continuously drifts away from what is Sacred, the Sacred holds you tenderly and without ceasing in its infinitely compassionate embrace. Whatever step you take, blindly or clear as day, the way knows the way.

Wherever you arrive, God will be waiting there for you to see its reflection in your own eyes, empowering you to embrace emptying, so that you may feel your fullness - “God's exit is her entrance.”

“Fish cannot drown in the water, birds cannot sink in the air, gold cannot perish in the refiner’s fire. This God gives to all creatures: To develop and seek their own nature - how then can I withstand mine?”

- Mechtild of Magdeburg

Like a river to the sea, by giving, it becomes whole.

The deep pulse that beckons you ever nearer, the felt sense of the presence of God within you, exudes love as naturally as the sun radiates heat.

Honor what was with deep gratitude. Claim what will be with valor. Be enchanted again by the world around you, and deeply move the world with what is within you.

This is the path of love, and love will always lead you home.

Tap into the Pulse Using Somatic Therapy

Cranial Sacral Therapy, CST, is a form of somatic therapy that addresses a rhythmic system at the core of our physiology – the pulse of energy that flows between our head and pelvic area, the soft tissue and fluid that protect your brain and spinal cord. Like the tides of the ocean, this pulse ebbs and flows, and at times, can become stagnant in areas along the spine, causing discomfort and dis-ease.

CST can create dramatic improvements in your health by releasing these stagnations and freeing patterns of tension stored deep within the body.
