Craniosacral Therapy (CST) addresses a rhythmic system at the core of our physiology – the pulse of energy that flows between our head and pelvic area, the soft tissue and fluid that protect your brain and spinal cord. It’s as essential, measurable, and tangible as our breath and heart rate. The craniosacral system follows a rhythm, and the skull bones accommodate its pulse. The craniosacral system is a field of information and intelligence that holds the consciousness of the body. CST Is a light touch, non-invasive therapeutic approach to somatic healing through the evaluation and treatment of this system. It provides relief of pain and dysfunction for many sensory, motor, and neurological disorders by supporting the body’s innate function of homeostasis. CST can create dramatic improvements in your health by releasing patterns of tension stored deep within the body. The Craniosacral System houses and protects the brain and spinal cord which make up the central nervous system (CNS), which is the control board of your entire body, and therefore the most influential component affecting the overall health and well-being of the body. Because CST is so gentle and non-invasive it's virtually risk free and people of all ages can benefit from this therapy. There are certain situations where CST is not recommended. These include any physiological condition in which slight changes in intracranial pressure could cause instability. Craniosacral Therapy has proven effective in relieving pain and dysfunction in a wide range of conditions, including: Migraine Headaches Chronic Neck & Back Pain Post Concussion Syndrome TMJ Dysfunction Sinus Problems Chronic Fatigue Sleep Disorders, Insomnia Fibromyalgia ADD/ADHD Depression Brain & Spinal Cord Injuries Post Surgical Support Emotional Difficulties Colic Motor-Coordination Impairments Central Nervous System Disorders Stress and Tension Related Disorders Orthopedic Problems PTSD Immune Support Anxiety Autism Earaches and more
